Curtis Jones has explained the message he has been sending to Trent Alexander-Arnold as his Liverpool team-mate adjusts to a new role.
Trent has been used by Jurgen Klopp as an inverted right-back
Trent created a late equaliser in the 2-2 Premier League draw with Arsenal two weeks ago, amd contributed two more assists at Leeds
Curtis Jones:
"We all know about Trent," said the 22-year-old.
"When he picks up the ball and he's got space, he will pick out a pass. I'm always telling Trent, 'Centre mid isn't the same, you've kind of got to twist, you've got to turn'.
"But somehow he still finds his space and that's him. He picks up the ball and he sees things that not many around the world see, so fair play to him and I hope it continues."
Jones Continued:
I just love the game and I love being around the team and having a chance," he said. "I've started three on the spin, so the confidence is high but it's not through the roof. I've still got a long way to go. I'm just taking each game as it comes and I'm happy."
You can talk about the goals (at Leeds) and we scored six, but the biggest thing was the energy and the determination of the whole team. We were up against a team that sat deep, so we had to risk the ball a bit more. But we would give away the ball and then the whole team worked their socks off. Happy days.
"We'll forget about this game and look ahead. Forest is a team, again, that's in a position where they're trying to stay up. It's a hard time for them as well, so they will be turning up to give a battle. We're the same as well. It will be a hard game again but we're ready and the confidence is up."
