Mohamed Salah was delighted to have scored his 50th European goal for Liverpool in the 2-1 win over Lille.
Salah admitted he was disappointed that the Reds allowed the French side a way back into the game after they'd gone down to 10 men.
Mandi was then sent off after he received a second yellow card for a challenge on Luis Diaz
But instead, Jonathan David levelled the scores and Liverpool needed a deflected Harvey Elliottstrike to secure the victory.
Speaking to Amazon TV post-match, Salah's disappointment at the Reds allowing Lille a lifeline was evident
Asked about his 50th goal for Liverpool in European competition,
Salah said:
"Hopefully it's not the last one. Something I'm very happy and proud, but especially because we won the game and that's the most important thing.”
"(For the equaliser) Not switched off but I think they went on the counter-attack and managed to score.
“We're disappointed about it because the clean sheet is important to our defensive line. I think the manager will speak about it."
Salah also paid tribute to the matchwinner Elliott, who scored his first Champions Leaguegoal at Anfield for Liverpool.
Salah
"Especially because he was injured earlier in the season, he came back and it's been quite tough because of the guys in midfield, but happy for him, I'm always there to help him. He's a great lad and always gives his best,"
"When you want to win the big tournaments, you need a big squad. We're on a good run at the moment."
And asked how the squad compares to the 2019 Champions League winners,
Salah added: "It's a different manager, different players, we have some left from that squad but I think we have good talent, players working hard and the manager has good ideas."
