Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak makes Liverpool claim supporters will love

Alexander Isak has chosen Anfield as having the best atmosphere in the Premier League, with the exception of his current club.

Isak, who was previously linked to Liverpool during his Real Sociedad days, joined the Magpies in the summer of 2022

The Swede has scored an impressive 20 goals in 38 Premier League appearances

Two of Isak's English top-flight goals have come at Anfield

Recognising the power of Anfield in such scenarios, the striker has named Liverpool's ground as the toughest environment to play in as an opposition player.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "Anfield is good."

Pushed further on whether it represents the hardest away experience in England, Isak added: "Yeah, probably. I think the average level is very high in the Premier League."
