Former Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus hasn't forgotten just how good the atmosphere at Anfield is
Reus was part of the BVB side that lost an eventful match 4-3 to the Reds in the quarter-finals of the Europa League in April 2016.
It was a landmark occasion in the early days of Jurgen Klopp's tenure and it clearly left an impression on Reus
speaking about that night at Anfield, Reus - admitted that, along with Leeds United, the Reds remain one of his favourite teams in the Premier League
Reus said:
"I like Liverpool. I played there once and it was an amazing atmosphere. The atmosphere between the players and the fans as well."
when asked about the connection with his former boss Klopp, he added: "And that, 100%."
Reus scored 170 goals in 429 games for Dortmund and speculation that he would join Liverpool reached fever pitch after Klopp arrived on Merseyside in 2015.
