Man City has signed the new deal with Puma

Manchester City have landed an unprecedented kit deal in the annals of Premier League history, valued at a staggering £1.35 billion.

The club has renewed their partnership with Puma for a further decade, with reports indicating a hefty $135M (£100m) per season value attached to the arrangement.

This marks a substantial elevation from the previously inked $87M (£65m)-a-year sponsorship that kicked off between City and Puma back in 2019.

It comes as Liverpool is made to wait to start its deal with Adidas, worth around $80M (£60m) per year.

The freshly extended contract will bind the two entities together until no earlier than the 2034-35 season, with the increased worth of the deal mirroring City's towering success over the past six years, even though they finished without silverware last term.

City's chief executive

Ferran Soriano stated: "We joined forces with Puma with the ambition to challenge ourselves and go beyond the expectations. We have achieved this and more over the last six seasons.

“Puma have seamlessly integrated into our organisation and we've enjoyed many historic moments together, engaging fans globally.

“Today's renewal and extension solidifies our relationship and projects it to an even brighter future."

The Citizens claimed the Treble during the 2022-23 campaign and etched a new milestone with four consecutive Premier League titles last season.

Even though Liverpool snatched away the title last season and City fell short in other contests, they've managed to secure the prime spot with the most rewarding kit sponsorship arrangement in the realm of English football.

Puma's chief executive officer Arthur Hoeld remarked: "Puma's partnership with Manchester City has been a great success both on and off the pitch. Trophies, a perfect stage for our performance products and commercial success were exceptional."

As Pep Guardiola's squad gears up for the 2025-26 season, they're aiming to launch a serious bid for the title, setting their sights on challenging Liverpool.

City haX made waves in the transfer market with three significant acquisitions.

Guardiola has nabbed midfielder Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan, playmaker Rayan Cherki has touched down from Lyon and full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri has come onboard from Wolves

Guardiola's team, pegged as one of the front-runners for this summer's Club World Cup, suffered an early exit when they bowed out in the round of 16, succumbing to a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Al-Hilal.
