Luis Diaz believes he has made "incredible" progress at Liverpool - and is convinced the Reds will be challenging for honours this season.
Diaz has been in impressive form this term, scoring three goals and providing one assist in six starts
The Colombian winger would have had another goal were it not for his strike in the 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday being wrongly chalked off

“The process and progression that I’ve been going through up to the present time is just incredible,”
"I’ve really learned a huge amount of things and I’m feeling that more and more all the time, not just in terms of my football but in my decision-making generally. Personally, I also feel in a really good place.
“As for the future, I can see myself winning lots of trophies with this great club, starting with trying to win everything that is up for grabs this season. And doing exactly what I know best, which is playing football, scoring goals, making assists. And feeling good on the pitch, feeling happy and enjoying it all, which is the main thing.
"I think I’ll carry on in the same way, with that same mentality of not getting carried away and keeping my feet on the ground, in the knowledge that the hard work I put in each day will keep improving me."
Diaz added:
"I'm trying to have plenty of classes now at home, and my level of understanding when listening is better, but speaking it is a little bit more difficult."
"We want to put everything right from the season we’ve just had. We had a great pre-season and had been preparing really well. So we have to set out to win everything we can this season because last year wasn’t so good by our standards."
The loss at Tottenham was Liverpool's first in 20 games in all competitions
Diaz has also spoken about his close relationship with the squad's South American contingent, but refuses to be entirely convinced by every offering of Alexis Mac Allister and Darwin Nunez.
"I knock around the place a lot with Macca and Darwin, and those two drink mate (the South American drink) almost all the time," he said. "They invite me to join them all the time 'come on, try some mate'. No, I say, I'm not keen on it. I don't like it at all.
"I did manage to try it once, before Macca got here. Alisson also drinks mate, because they drink it to a certain extent in Brazil too. So, I tried it once and oof, I didn't really like it much! But they say it's a custom and all.
"They also say that if I drank it more regularly that I'd get more of a taste for it, but I don't think it would ever be to my liking really. But it's all good, you try to develop good friendships and as a result we're always spending time together.
