Liverpool are the latest side to join the race for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia, joining Arsenal in enquiring about the teenager
Lavia joined Saints from Manchester City last summer and impressed in his first full Premier League season
The 19-year-old is now expected to leave the club and has been the subject of interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.
Liverpool have now made their own enquiries to the south-coast club about a possible deal.

Lavia made 34 appearances across all competitions for Southampton last season, scoring his only goal in the 2-1 win over Chelsea
He also received his first call-up to the Belgium squad and made his debut for his country in the 3-2 win over Germany in March.
Liverpool are keen to add to their midfield options having seen Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner all leave the club.
