Liverpool are lining up their first sale of the summer transfer window, with a number of clubs interested in taking on second-choice goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
Kelleher has spent several years serving as Alisson's understudy, and has developed and performed admirably when called upon.
He is entering the final year of his contract, and is an attractive option for clubs seeking a new first-choice keeper, such as Brentford, West Ham, or newly-promoted Leeds United.
But some fans reckon the business side of the deal won't be good enough, and that a Premier League club could be getting not an absolute steal from them.
He is known to want to make the step up to be a regular starter,
Kelleher: "I think I’ve said it before as well that like, I feel like I’m a number one and I feel like I’m good enough to play week in, week out."
It's a summer of change for many clubs and their goalkeeping departments - Aston Villa's Emi Martinez looks to have played his last game for the Midlands club for example, and Bournemouth's Kepa Arrizabalaga is returning to Chelsea after a season on loan.
Despite having just a year left on his deal, some fans reckon Liverpool will be short-changed on a player of Kelleher's talents.
Fans saying: "We should keep him, he’s certainly worth more than 20 mil."
LFC Fan; In today's market as a proven PL keeper, he should be at least £30m."
LFC Fan: "A steal at £20m. Won’t be short of offers."
LFC Fan: Got to be worth at least £30m surely? Still a baby in goalkeeping terms, but so experienced and accomplished. Be sad to see him go."
Moneyballs reckons the market has become distorted: "If Kepa cost £70M, why only £20M for CK? He is a far better keeper! Crazy low figure, worth a lot more!"
