Liverpool handed mystery Alexander Isak transfer update as Eddie Howe feelings clear

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has dropped a cryptic update on Alexander Isak's future, amid ongoing transfer interest from Liverpool.
The Reds had an initial £110million bid for the Sweden international turned down this summer - and have yet to go back in with a follow-up approach.
Speculation around Isak continues to spiral after he broke silence on the saga this month.
In that statement, he underlined his desire to leave St James' Park before September 1.
Naturally, that has been THE big topic at Anfield, St James' Park and beyond with Howe sharing a brief update on Isak during his post-match press conference after tonight's Premier League game with Leeds.
Howe said: "I don't know, I'm not party to any talks going on.
"I've been preparing for this game and you can imagine that's demanding enough.
"So I will find out like everyone else."
This week, it was reported that - prior to Liverpool's dramatic 3-2 win at St James' Park over Newcastle - co-owner Jamie Reuben and a representative of their majority shareholders, Saudi Arabia's Private Investment Fund, met with Isak and his entourage in a bid to build bridges, in order to reintegrate him back into the side.
However, it emerged that Isak doubled down on his unhappiness at the club and continued his demand to make a dream move to Liverpool.
Liverpool have, meanwhile, reportedly launched an opening offer for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi
