Anderson Arroyo looks set to leave Liverpool permanently this summer after six and a half years
Arroyo never kicked a ball for the Reds.
The Colombian has reportedly agreed personal terms for a three-year contract with Spanish outfit Burgos CF
After spending the second half of last season on loan with the Segunda side.
Making 16 appearances, scoring one goal, the switch would be Arroyo’s eighth different loan move away from Liverpool
He was immediately sent on loan to RCD Mallorca B on an 18-month deal, with the defender unable to obtain a work permit to play in England.
However, he would go on to spend the 2018/19 season on loan with K.A.A. Gent, though never made an appearance for the Belgian club.
After another unsuccessful loan switch, this time with Czechia outfit Mlada Boleslav in 2019/20, Arroyo's fortunes picked up after returning to Spain with Salamanca for the 2020/21 campaign.
Still unable to get a work permit to play for Liverpool, the Colombia Under-23s international would spend the next two seasons with CD Mirandes and Deportivo Alaves
while he last signed a contract extension with the Reds in 2022 prior to joining Alaves, Diario de Burgos are reporting that Burgos are close to signing the defender on a permanent basis
Arroyo would become the fifth player with first team experience to leave the Reds this summer
