Klopp was left to admit not even a potential Rodri red card could have given Liverpool much hope in their heavy 4-1 defeat to Manchester City
City were perhaps fortunate to not see Rodri sent off for a second bookable offence in the first half when the scores were still level.

a downbeat Klopp agreed that Rodri was fortunate to stay on the pitch. But he was in no mood to use it as an excuse following his side’s dismal performance at the Etihad.
Klopp: “I didn’t see it well enough (but) I realised the situation,”
Could he have got a second yellow? Yes, probably. He will not get it now.
“I’m not sure we would have won today against 10 men, to be honest.”
