Juventus manager Igor Tudor believes Andrea Cambiaso could play for Liverpool one day.
The defender was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City in the summer, with Pep Guardiola eager to sign a new left-back, but a deal failed to materialise.
Cambiaso, whose contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2029, has featured twice in the Serie A this season, helping the Old Lady climb to second in the table.
Despite a red card on the opening weekend of the new campaign, the 25-year-old has generally impressed.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Juventus' clash against Atalanta on Saturday, Tudor was asked whether Cambiaso could play in midfield.
As quoted by Italian outlet Il Bianconero, the Juventus boss said: "He could play as a winger; he has a different mindset, he sees the game as a midfielder too.
"He needs to be more consistent; he’s potentially a player for the best clubs in the world, but he has to decide.
“If he decides, he can play for Real Madrid, Liverpool, or Manchester City."
While Tudor believes Cambiaso has the potential to play for 'the best clubs in the world', Liverpool may struggle to prise him from Turin.
In an interview with Corriere dello Sportin October 2024, the Italy international described Juventus as his dream club.
"History of Italian football, a second family and a massive point of arrival in my career," he said. "Only being linked with a club like Real Madrid feels like something bigger than me.
"I am proud of the admirers I may have; it’s motivating to know that somebody appreciates you, but I haven’t received any proposal. In any case, Juventus are my Real Madrid.
“I’ve extended until 2029, and I want to stay for as long as possible."
