Injuries, injuries, injuries
Including illness, there were 14 players missing from the Liverpool squad for Wednesday's FA Cup clash with Southampton. Fourteen
Klopp on Salah
"I don't think Mo is too far off but he will not be on the pitch tomorrow and from there we have to go.
"Touch and go, Mo is a bit longer, maybe next week is possible, he is on the way back, definitely. Not for tomorrow."
Klopp on injuries:
"Darwin and Dom trained y'day with the team. We'll see how they react. Wataru and Robbo didn't but there's a plan they join today. Ibou...is nothing, time sharing.
"Lucho is fine. Macca is fine. All look. Little problem we didn't know about was Macca was ill for 1 and a half days, Robbo same thing, hopefully it hasn't spread."
Klopp
"I don't feel [I have to protect the young lads] I know it. I would like to eat my words from Wednesday...what could disturb a young career is what people make of it, you cannot live on the planet if you don't see hwo special it was but now it is about how they deal with it. I don't think I needed to mention it but I did, so my fault."
Klopp added
"Until we get asked about four trophies, we don't think about it for one second. It's not important, we try to win the next game. Take it game by game. It's not a phrase journalists like too much but we can't do it differently."
