Sporting director Richard Hughes has confirmed that there are daily chats with Slot about potential transfer dealings
Hughes refused to be drawn into the contract situation involving Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah but all three are expected to stay.
There have been links with Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich amid his anticipated exit this summer.
