Giorgi Mamardashvili has reiterated his intention to depose Alisson Becker as Liverpool's first-choice goalkeeper

Mamardashvili will join from Spanish side Valencia after the Reds agreed a £29million deal to sign the Georgia international last August.

The 24-year-old has experienced a difficult season with Valencia struggling near the bottom of La Liga and has kept just five clean sheets in 24 appearances.

Mamardashviliwill join a strong goalkeeping contingent at Liverpool, where Alisson is the long-established number one with Republic of Ireland international Caoimhin Kelleher

the Georgian is confident he can overcome his tough time in Spain this campaign and begin challenging for a regular starting role at Anfield.
