Dominik Szoboszlai has said that Mohamed Salah wants to stay at Anfield.
Szobozslai, who joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window, has told BBC Sport that Mohamed Salah has told him that he wants to stay.
Szobozslai made the comments about Salah’s future after Liverpool’s match against Aston Villa
The former Chelsea attacker has been linked with a move away from Liverpool.
Sky Sports reported on Friday that Al Ittihad had made a bid of £150 million for Salah on transfer deadline day.
Liverpool had rejected it.
According to the report, the Saudi Pro League club could come back with a second and improved offer of £200 million for the Egyptian star.
Szoboszlai said about Salah: “You know it is football everyone is talking.
“We are really happy that he has stayed.
“We are of course speaking between each other but he wants to stay, he wants to be here and be with us.
“We are really happy – we need people in the team like him.”
That Mohamed Salah has decided to stay at Liverpool is hugely encouraging for Liverpool fans.
At least we now know that Salah will not force a move out of Liverpool.
