Gary Neville makes Premier League title prediction and sends warning to Liverpool and Man City

Gary Neville thinks Arsenal might have an 'advantage' in the Premier League title race against Liverpool and Man City.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool currently lead the standings, with a two-point advantage over City and Arsenal

The Gunners' 6-0 win over West Ham on Sunday means they now have a goal difference of 31, the same as City's, while Liverpool have a goal difference of 32.

Neville believes that being in the chase could work in Arsenal's favour.

Neville

"It was around this time last season where there was so much pressure on Arsenal because they were so many points clear and everybody was thinking that they were going to win the league. Now they don't have anyone looking over their shoulder.

"In fact, they're the ones doing the looking in third. That may actually be better for them."

Neville added:

"They have, in the last few weeks, shown the form that put them in that position last season when they could've won the league.

"They just need to stay focused, calm and keep their players fit.

"They're good in a lot of areas and if their front players start scoring consistently that they haven't been doing earlier in the season, they have a real chance.

"They're up against [Jurgen] Klopp and Liverpool. They're up against [Pep] Guardiola and Man City and that's big.

"Mikel Arteta, if he can drive that bus in between those two and win the league this year, that'd be a monumental achievement. They're in with a chance."
