Liverpool maintained their 100% start to the season under Arne Slot with a 3-0 win at Manchester United on Sunday.

Two goals from Luis Diaz and another from Mohamed Salah gave the Dutchman the best league start by a new Reds boss since 1895.

The forthcoming international break means Liverpool now have to wait until a week on Saturday for the home Premier League clash against Forest.

here we look ahead to the changes Slotcould make when his team are next in action:

Having made just one change to his starting line-up during the opening three games of the Premier League season, Slot acknowledges matters will be much different when Liverpool resume after the latest round of international games.

After the usual anxious wait for his players to return unscathed after representing their countries

of those who featured against United, only the suspended Darwin Nunez is not on international duty

so begins a spell of seven games in 22 days that will begin to test the depth of Slot's squad.

The head coach, then, could be minded to start rotation given Liverpool open their Champions League campaign at AC Milan four days after the Forest game.

Nevertheless, Alisson Becker will be expected to remain in goal ahead of Caoimhin Kelleher and Vitezslav Jaros.

At right-back, Conor Bradley has replaced Trent Alexander-Arnold in the final quarter of each of the first three games this season and is waiting patiently for his chance

Kostas Tsimikas is in a similar position on the other flank with Andy Robertson first choice.

Ibrahima Konate has emerged as preferred partner to Virgil van Dijk at centre-back but will come under pressure from Jarell Quansah, with Joe Gomez another option.

The midfield is one area where it will be intriguing to discover how Liverpool cope with changes in the starting line-up

What has helped, though, is players being given more clearly defined roles within the squad, such as Harvey Elliott regarded the main competition for Dominik Szoboszlai

Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister have assumed the deeper midfield roles, with Wataru Endo and Curtis Jones

Tyler Morton, who remained at Anfield after the transfer deadline despite interest from a number of clubs, is another possibility.

It was too early for new signing Federico Chiesa to be considered at Old Trafford, but the Italian will hope for a place on the bench against Forest.

His arrival has given Liverpool senior competition in all three forward positions, with Mohamed Salah the first-choice on the right flank.

Nunez will look to keep the pressure on Diogo Jota for a central role, while the in-form Luis Diaz was substituted for Cody Gakpo on the left flank
