Arne Slot confirms double Liverpool injury boost for Man United and gives Alisson Becker update

Arne Slot has eased concerns over a hamstring injury for Ryan Gravenberch.

Slot has also indicated that Ibrahima Konate is set to train with his colleagues on Friday as he delivered a couple of timely injury boosts for the Reds ahead of the visit from Ruben Amorim's side this weekend.

“We are in a good place with the Dutch national team. If Ronald Koeman can make a decision to either play Tijani Reijnders or Ryan Gravenberch.

"So he played them both for 45 minutes. Ibou (Konate) has come back to us and has started his sessions again and is expected to train with us today."

Slot also provided an update on goalkeeper Alisson Becker who is recovering from a hamstring issue sustained in the 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray late last month.

Slot added: "Alisson is not training with us, so he is out. How long is he out? It's difficult to say as the end phase of rehab always gives you positives and negatives but he will not play for the weekend or next week."
