Arne Slot is under increasing pressure at Liverpool, as the latest collapse saw them thrashed 4-1 by PSV Eindhoven at Anfield in the Champions League.
The Reds are in crisis, with nine defeats in their last 12 matches across all competitions, bringing about plenty of concern.
Discussions surrounding whether Slot should be sacked continue among the fanbase, with a squad that is clearly underperforming where they should be.
While the attack isn't quite clicking, it's the defence that is a major cause for concern, as they continue to Leak goals
The centre-backs were exposed yet again in the defeat to PSV Eindhoven, while the performances of Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk have been under scrutiny.
For Jamie Carragher, however, there is a belief that starting Konate every week is a "sackable offence", as his reaction to the game on CBS Sports was posted after the game.
The former defender fumed at the third goal in particular, as Carragher said:
"Oh my God, Konate. Oh my God Konate. Watch Konate here, oh my God."
Carragher was then seen calling on his phone, as he said on the call: "I've f****** had enough of them.
“Honest to God, that Konate. I mean, that's a sackable offence for the manager f****** keep picking him. Should be sacked for that."
It's just the latest defeat in a run of poor form that continues to put pressure on Slot to turn things around, after an impressive debut campaign where he lifted the Premier League.
Calls for the manager to get sacked are only growing louder with each devastating defeat, but he has affirmed that he feels safe in his position and will keep pressing on to overturn this run of form.
“It is a shock for everyone, for the players, for me, this is very, very unexpected," Slot said after the PSV defeat. “I am feeling safe, I am okay though.
“It would be nice to turn it around and get a victory but if you are working as a coach and not doing well then it is normal that questions are asked.
“If any manager around the world loses football games, let alone as many as we have lost, it’s quite normal people have an opinion about that.
“If it’s fair or unfair, it’s for other people to judge. Is that normal? I think it is. If you lose so many times, people start talking about that.
“I have got a lot of support from above. I am okay with my position. They [the board] don’t call every single minute of the day to say they trust me but in the normal conversations we have, I feel the trust.”
This is now Liverpool's worst 12-game run in over 70 years, while it is also the first time the side have lost three consecutive goals by a three-goal margin in that time frame too.
Next up, Liverpool make the trip to the capital to take on West Ham, who have picked up form in recent weeks, and will be looking to continue that.
Another defeat could spell trouble for the head coach, while a victory may finally help the side turn a corner and put together the sort of run they are capable of.
