Liverpool waved goodbye to seven members of staff including Jürgen Klopp on the final day of the season
Alisson Becker has appeared to confirm that one important coach will be remaining at Anfield.
It makes sense given that no goodbye was set aside for goalkeeping coach and Brazilian legend Cláudio Taffarel, 58, on the pitch after the final whistle
Alisson says it
""looks like" he will be staying put to work under Arne Slot.
Taffarel arrived at Liverpool in 2021, initially alongside working for the Brazilian national team
Raffael Worked alongside John Achterberg and Jack Robinson in the goalkeeping department under Klopp
Alisson
"I think all of these guys, they did an amazing job,"
“Of course, we wanted to have them around [for longer]. In my case as a goalkeeper working directly with Jonny and Jack…"
"But Taff’s staying isn’t he, Taff is staying?" pundit Steve McManaman interjected. "Looks like, looks like,"
“But the experience that we had the last years, I wish I could stay with them more, but it’s not in my hands. I love those guys, not only as goalie coaches but as people as well."
Liverpool goalkeeper Adrián, 37, who is out of contract this summer, was not given a goodbye during the post-match ceremony either
