Alexis Mac Allister makes 'important' Liverpool claim after seeing team-mates in action

Alexis Mac Allister believes Liverpool can "build something important" as he revealed how he is settling into Jurgen Klopp's squad.

while Mac Allister admits the preparations have thus far been demanding, he has seen enough to hope for a successful campaign for Liverpool.

"It's a tough pre-season but we all know that this part is very important for the season,"

"As you can see, three sessions is not easy every day but we are doing well and overall it's a very good pre-season."

"It's a pre-season game, of course you always want to win but that's not the most important thing. We know we have to improve in a couple of things but it's good to get more minutes in the tank.

"There are a lot of positive things. I'm a new player so I still have to get to know my team-mates, their strengths and weaknesses. But they are really good players here and we can build something important."

Mac Allister added

"The welcome from the team was amazing and they are helping me every day so I can do my best on the pitch. We all try to help each other on the pitch and that's very important for our goal. We will try our best to have a very good season."

"We know that there are a lot of people (there) waiting for us. Singapore will be another great experience for us with two games (that will be) very important. We will try to improve every day and I think it will be a very good two games there"
