'That's why I signed' - Dominik Szoboszlai sends message ahead of Chelsea vs Liverpool

Dominik Szoboszlai is relishing the prospect of making his Premier League debut and is confident he can make an immediate impact.

Szoboszlai can perform in a variety of positions, including No. 8, No. 10 and on both flanks

The former Leipzig man featured heavily for Liverpool during pre-season and has claimed a number of assists as a result of set-piece deliveries

Szoboszlai is on a mission to help his side get back to challenging on all fronts after a below-par campaign last season.

"Of course, the Premier League is the best league in the world, and Liverpool is one of the best clubs in the world, so that's why I came. I want to achieve a lot with this team.

"Really looking forward and really excited to get started [after] a great pre-season with some games and minutes in everyone's legs. Really excited to get started."

Szoboszlai also said:

"When I signed, from the first minute I was ready."

"That's why I also came here – to help the team, to help the fans, to come back after a season like the season before to win trophies again.

"The guys gave me a really warm welcome, so from the first day everybody was open to help me. From here as well, thank you to them"

"In the training, I try to do my best, in the games as well. So hopefully against Chelsea I can also do my best."
