Former Everton, Barcelona and Leicester City striker Gary Lineker has admitted he'd love to have played under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp

Lineker insists he would've relished the German's full-throttle attacking approach.

The 62-year-old, who won the Golden Boot at the 1986 World Cup with England

Lineker moved to Spanish giants Barcelona in 1986, where he further enhanced his reputation on the European and international stage as he fired a memorable hat-trick against Real Madrid.

The former England man insisted he would have relished the opportunity to play under Klopp if he was able to relive his career in the current day and age.

Lineker

“I’d go first with Jurgen Klopp,"

"I think he’d be a great manager to play for. Dynamic football, create loads of chances and, from a selfish perspective, I think I would have liked that.”

Klopp has established himself as one of the finest counter-pressing managers of his era with his tactics
