Bukayo Saka has revealed that Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Manchester City spurred his side on in their 1-0 win over Brentford.
Liverpool slipped from second to third after Kai Havertz scored an 89th-minute header to seal a hard-fought victory for Arsenal at Brentford.
The Gunners now sit top of the table, one point above City and two above Liverpool
Saka revealed that the result in early kick-off proved an added motivator in the pre-match team-talk.

"Yeah, and what a game by the way," the England winger said, when asked whether he saw the Etihad clash.
"I watched that game, really high quality, and of course, the draw was a good result for us.
"All of us knew, the boys said it in the team talk, this was a chance to go top of the league and we took that. So we’re happy."
