Ben Doak and Liverpool agree new long-term contract as progress rewarded

Ben Doak has had his progress at Liverpool rewarded by a new long-term contract.


The 17-year-old has made significant strides since arriving from Scottish Premiership champions Celtic for £600,000 last summer




the winger has put pen to paper on an improved deal that will extend his commitment at Anfield


Doak started last season with the under-18s before soon progressing to the U21s before making his senior debut in the League Cup tie at home to Derby County in November.


The winger then made his Premier League bow at Aston Villa on Boxing Day


The teenager then came off the bench to play the final quarter of the Premier League 1-1 draw at Chelsea on the opening day of the season.
